I loved your article about your dad and wrote to tell you. You were so kind to respond. I can imagine a lot of people must have done the same.
I'm a so-called wrong way bettor at craps. However, I start like that but after the first roll, with my money and odds on the don't pass, I then make two or three comes bets with odds. I seem to do pretty well, if I survive that first roll that is.
What do you think of this?

I always try to respond to my emails although with my traveling schedule sometimes I get behind or lose some of the older emails.
Your strategy at craps is good because you are making the lowest house-edge bets at the game. By sticking with these bets, you give yourself the best chance to win. The bottom line of casino gambling is quite simple --- the money is better in your pockets!

I read with great interest the story of how you and your friends made a day of playing craps at most of the casinos in AC. I have a similar story. My mom and I use to make bus trips from Baltimore to AC quite regularly, staying overnight with comps, eating free and pretty much playing blackjack for hours into the night.
On one particular trip, in 2004, after breakfast, I left mom at the AC Hilton after I had amassed $200 in winnings and told her I would be back for dinner. I hit the Tropicana and after 40 minutes at a $25 table, I was up $250. Caesar's next, I promptly dropped $175 in 30 minutes.
In Bally's I went in the hole for $100.
Since I was in the neighborhood I tried my luck at Trump Plaza. I was at a full $25 table for an hour and a half and the dealer said goodbye to everyone but me and another guy whom I thought was betting too reckless for all the hundreds he was pulling out of his wallet.
Eventually it was me and the dealer. I told him I didn't like playing heads-up so I moved on North where I wound up at the Taj with my original $200 in my pocket.
I sat down at a $25 table with 4 others and before the dealer tore through them, I was up $600.
Again, I was the only one at the table but I stayed. I couldn't believe it. The dealer was coming at me with all the speed he could 
The hands were so crazy in my favor that I would occasionally “bet the house " and won. When I walked away from the Taj I had won almost $4,000. Of course I left a generous tip to the dealer and caught a cab back to the Hilton.
In those days I really liked staying and playing at the AC Hilton. I hope they can get back on their feet. Mom and I had a delicious meal at the steakhouse that evening, and I slept very well that night.
I have since learned to play craps by reading your books and have built a practice table in my basement. My quote, "Money won is money earned, if you have put in the time."

Making those odysseys from casino to casino is a fun way to play and it seems to me that you are quite a good blackjack player. Even more enjoyable than playing casino-to-casino is having one of those great nights as you did at the Taj. Those are memorable. I am sure you even got pumped up writing about that.
Casinos do need winners to keep stimulating people to play and it is best when YOU are the winner!
Your saying at the conclusion of your letter is right on the money. Once you have won the casino’s money it is now your money! Treat it with respect because it is better in your bank account than in the casino vaults.
Too many players think that the money they won from the casino is "casino money" but that is like saying that the money you earned from your job belongs to the business and not to you.
